By creating a DayDot account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use DayDot.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide a valid email address. You may not create accounts for others without their consent.
DayDot is a personal journaling tool. You may not use it to store content that is illegal, violates third-party rights, or facilitates harm. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You own all content you write in DayDot. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (including Time Capsule email delivery). We do not claim any ownership over your journal entries.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($2.99) or annually ($19.99) via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for data loss resulting from service outages, provided we have maintained commercially reasonable backup practices.
DayDot is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of DayDot after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
